For some reason summer and winter are the two times during the year when I can really sink into books. I almost always have about four to five books that I am reading simultaneously; usually one or two education or parenting books, a cookbook, a novel, and a perhaps a mindfulness book.
During the summer and winter though, I finish the novel, actually cook the recipes in the cookbook, and limit myself to reading only one or two books at a time. This summer I am reading Parenting with Presence by Susan Stiffelman and am looking for a great novel. It looks like there are many good ones out there including All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. What’s on your reading list this summer? Any suggestions?
